Corfu boasts a modest Latin dancing scene. In the winter, organised Latin parties take place exclusively around Corfu town centre about Two to three times a week. These parties offer the opportunity to dance mostly Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba.
During the summer season, the scene undergoes a transformation. The venues change from indoor to outdoor settings. Corfu becomes the ideal location for dancing by the beach and a setting for Salsa, Kizomba and Bachata Festivals. Festivals usually last about 5 -7 days featuring workshops and social dancing, as well as the chance to engage in other holiday activities such as tours and boat trips. Popular among dancers from all over the globe, these festivals offer the perfect combination of one’s passion and a holiday experience. Participants have the opportunity to take part in workshops, dance to their heart’s content, and make new friends. The festivals usually feature instructors from overseas, along with a few local ones.
The summer social dancing scene comprises either tourist entertainment or organized social dancing nights. The former usually takes the form of a show at a hotel, where professional dancers entertain holidaymakers with a pre-set performance. Latin music is played before the show, during the intermission, and after the show concludes, providing an opportunity for tourists and local dancers alike to engage in some social dancing. One notable venue renowned for hosting such events for several consecutive years is the Molfeta Hotel in Gouvia.
Organised Latin events are usually in the evening, though occasionally, a few may be organised during the day at a beach bar. The Facebook group ‘Corfu Latin Nights‘ shares information about any upcoming parties during a given week. If you have a question, you can post it on the group and members will inform you of any nearby dancing events.
Corfu boasts some excellent Latin music DJs, including El General (Miltiadis) and Alexakis, among others.
Corfu-Based Salsa Festival 2025
For the last few years Eagle Salsa Tours has been having festivals in Corfu usually held in Delfinia Hotel located in the south of Corfu just before you enter Moraitika village.
Last year the Eagle Salsa Tours Festival started on the 14th of May and lasted for 5 nights till the 19th of May. Package Started at £459 and included:
- 5 Nights 4-star Beach accommodation

- Afternoon activities including pool parties / beach parties
- Latin Party Cruise *(Optional Extra)
- Nightly parties
- Greek Night
- Over 40 hours of dance workshops
This year there are no announcements of any salsa festivals taking place in Corfu. Looking at Eagle’s official website there is no mention of them coming to Corfu this year witch is quite reasonable as dancers would like to experience other locations too.
